This group has been a huge part of my breastfeeding journey. I didn’t have a specific goal of how long I wanted to breastfeed but I am currently still breastfeeding at 9 months, in large part due to the support from this group. I have attended the Fleet sessions only twice, at around 8 weeks and around 5 months post partum, two times when I was particularly in need of some support and experiencing some issues and both times I felt really reassured and left feeling confident to continue breastfeeding. It’s great to chat to others mums and know you’re not alone because someone else has always been through something similar. I do not think I would have gotten past those hurdles without the group and the expertise of Paula and Georgina. I’m also part of the WhatsApp group which is fantastic, Paula and Georgina are always on hand and it’s a lifesaver when you’re worried about something and one of them (or one of the other mums on the group) gets back to you so quickly. I’d like to say a massive thank you to Paula and Georgina for all the support and reassurance, I know so much about breastfeeding now and I’ve enjoyed breastfeeding so much. Also a big thank you to Georgina who did a personal 1:1 zoom call with me in the early days - as a first time mum it was really invaluable in helping me find my feet.

I am so indebted to Paula and George for their wonderful breastfeeding circle. They have created a welcoming, relaxed and supportive forum where no question is too big or small. I feel immensely lucky that I have access to a friendly, informative and judgement-free space every Tuesday.

They have introduced me to an amazing community of such supportive and likeminded women. They have hugely contributed to mine and my baby’s feeding journey - I'm 7 months in and I really wasn’t sure I would make it past 7 weeks!

Mary & baby George, Fleet

Paula and George saved my breastfeeding journey. I came to them when my son was 6 weeks, and even after a tongue tie snip breastfeeding was still painful. They watched me feed, helped with my latch and introduced me to different breastfeeding position. For me the biological breastfeeding position was a game changer, I was able to get a great latch. I continued to see them at breastfeeding circle where they were welcoming, friendly and still took the time to support me with hints and tips.

At 4 months I was in a bad place, my nipples were in tatters, feeding was excruciating and he wouldn't take a bottle, the continued support via zoom and text providing suggestions were invaluable as I wanted to continue to breastfeeding. It was George's strong recommendation to get my sons tongue tie reassessed. My son had a second tongue tie, which we cut. Breastfeeding has since been a pleasure and something I am really proud. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paula and George for any breastfeeding families who are after practical, friendly and knowledgeable support.

Breastfeeding Circle has been an absolute lifeline for me and my breastfeeding journey. George and Paula helped me through my entire 15month bf journey with my 1st son, initially face to face then over zoom during lockdown. Without this support and mum community I don’t know what I’d have done. I’ve since come back to the group face to face with my now 5 month old and the bf community they have built is once again amazing. No judgement. Just likeminded mums finding their way feeding their babies . George and Paula allow not only their up to date advice and information but open it up to the group to share experiences and tips which is all so invaluable. I’ll be forever grateful to both George and Paula. I love(d) being able to feed my boys, and so glad with all the support I’ve been able to do that

Breastfeeding Circle has been a life saver (a double life saver!). I wish this was around with my first child it would have transformed my experience and those first few weeks and months with my baby. It can feel very isolating and confusing when you're struggling to get breastfeeding established so having an open forum like this is invaluable. Things also change so regularly so having them every week and a WhatsApp group of people to talk to has been amazing

I am so happy I found this group! Everyone is so supportive and offers fantastic advice.

I have been exclusively pumping for my baby and the ladies have made me feel so welcome.

Definitely would recommend them to anyone who is breastfeeding/chest feeding/pumping.
